Recommendations for social distancing and facilities disinfection during the COVID 19 emergency.

These are difficult times and at Beast Soundesign we are committed to taking care of ourselves in the best way. Help us to follow a few rules and recommendations that we believe are basic in order to continue offering our services and at the same time take care of the health of all those involved. We hope to return to normal soon but for now these are the changes for recordings of Voices at Beast.

Social Distancing Guidelines:

All staff and talent will wear masks. Talent should only remove their masks during the time of recordings.

All staff and talents should wash their hands frequently with soap and water or use hand sanitizer.

All visitors and staff will be monitored daily for temperature using a non-touch thermometer.

All staff will work to maintain a healthy 2.0 meter distance between themselves and the talent.

Only talent will be allowed in the studio; all production professionals will continue to monitor remotely (GMeet, Zoom, Source Connect, Skype). Guests are not allowed.

Engineers will be assigned to one studio per session.

A loudspeaker will be used in the recording booth in stead of headphones as much as possible.

Eating food is prohibited for the moment, we can only offer our guests and talents bottled water and bottled soft drinks. In case the call is long, a break will be arranged so that they can go out to eat.

When each actor arrives, they will be admitted only when the previous actor leaves. The studio staff will make every effort to limit any crossovers with other people on the site. Staff will open external doors for talents and internal doors will be open to allow no-knock access as much as possible.

All talent and staff (themselves or through their representatives) must respond in writing to the questionnaire below prior to arrival. No talent or staff can enter the studio if any of the following questions are answered in the affirmative.

Have you traveled in the last 14 days?

Have you been in close contact with someone who tested positive for coronavirus or someone who showed symptoms of coronavirus in the last 14 days?

Do you have any symptoms of coronavirus? Or have they come into contact with someone who has? (These include: fever over 100.4 [or hot flashes, sweats and / or chills that might suggest fever], runny nose, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat or rash)

There will be a maximum of three calls per day.

Wallas and group recordings are not possible at the moment.

Cleaning and disinfection:

Each space in the cabins and Control Rooms will be disinfected prior to the arrival of any Talent. The system we are using is a smoke machine that makes the application very easy and helps keep the equipment in good condition. With this system we can perfectly disinfect spaces and objects without the need to be manipulating them (this is how we protect our engineers and our talents). At the end of any service, an engineer with the necessary protection (mask, mask, gloves and gown), will once again disinfect the spaces where the talent was. It will remove trash and papers that they may have handled. 45 minutes must be calculated to sanitize the spaces between one speaker and the next.

Disinfection of control rooms and recording booths:

All surfaces will be disinfected after each actor, including:

All table surfaces

Pop filters

Brackets

Headphones

Chairs (especially chair arms)

All door handles

Disinfection of common spaces:

All high-touch surfaces will be sanitized after each use, including:

Door handles (interior and exterior)

Light switches

Security answer button

Tables

Kitchen counters

The telephones

Chairs (especially arms)

Keyboards

The air conditioners will remain off if there are 2 or more people in that studio or cabin.

We have disinfectant towels, antibacterial gel, soap, aerosol disinfectants, etc. and they will be placed in different points of the facilities so that they can be used at any time.

Signs and instructions

The common spaces are perfectly identified with signs. Some instructions and guides will be posted in the bathroom and entrance so that we can all coexist within the facilities in the safest way and we hope that they are taken care of for the safety and health of all. These instructions and user guide will be sent to our clients and talents before each recording.

Sincerely

SALVADOR FÉLIX TROCHE

DIRECTOR
